HP ScanJet 8200 Series Firmware Update Version 1.06 For Scanner Initialization and DMA Timeout Errors.Install this update only if you are having the problem described below: This software updates the firmware to resolve errors seen when scanning slides or negatives from the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th positions in the TMA (transparent media adapter). You may get the error "The HP imaging device could not be initialized. An error occurred communicating with the device." You may also see a "DMA Timeout" error on the front panel display.
