Kodak i100 Series Scanner Validation Tool & Brightness Contrast Control.

Installing the latest Scanner Validation Tool (SVT) from the link on the bottom of this page will install both the latest TWAIN Data Source, and the latest ISIS Driver for the i200 Series Scanners. You must install the SVT to access these drivers, and to use the integrated Host Image Processing software, known as HIPPO.

All i100 Series Scanners should be brought up to this level of Host Software, and the Firmware MUST be updated to v 010012 i100 Firmware after the SVT is installed. If this isn¡¯t done the scanner will not work properly.

Software Driver Versions included in the latest SVT - January 2005:

  • TWAIN data source V6.24.0 (This is a 32-bit data source, and is TWAIN 1.9 compliant).
  • ISIS driver 1.1.10410.5001.
  • HIPPO v3.16.0 (Host Image Processing for both TWAIN and ISIS Drivers).
  • STI driver v 2.3.
  • Adds the ability to accept custom color tables created with the Brightness and Contrast Control v 1.1.7.
