Kodak i30/i40 Scanner Firmware 3.2/3.4.

Installation Instructions:

  • Click on i30 (v3.2) and i40 (v3.4) firmware below and download the file to a temporary directory on your C drive.
  • Double click on the file to extract the firmware files. By default the files are placed in the "C:\%windows%\twain_32\KODAK\kds_i30_i40\Firmware" directory. Or, you can enter the directory of your choice. For ease of installation we recommend using the default.
  • Use the Scan Validation Tool to download either the i30_xxxxxx.ekpgfw or the i40_xxxxxx.ekpgfw file (depending on your model) from the directory selected in the previous step. You will find the Download button under the Setup tab of the SVT.
  • After the download has completed, power the scanner off, and then back on.
  • The Firmware version can be checked by selecting the "Info" tab of the SVT.
